.Deputy General Manager

Yasemin Akyürek is the Deputy General Manager of Hacettepe Technopolis Technology Transfer Center has graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Pharmacy. She pursued her Master of Science degree in Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics in 2005 and her Ph.D. degree in 2015. She worked in the Turkish Drug Competent Authority (named General Directorate of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy before 2012 and Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency currently) between 2005 and 2018. She worked as a quality assessor for variation applications between 2005 and 2007. In 2007 she served as a technical advisor in the İEGM-2007 Project, which aimed to create the infrastructure of the electronic document management system and electronic submissions. Between 2008 and 2012 she was the head of Legislation and EU harmonization Unit in the Agency. After the transformation of the General Directorate to the Agency she assigned as the head of Relations with International Organizations and Bilateral Relations Unit. From May 2017 to November 2018 she has worked as Advisor to the Head of the Agency. During her tenure, she was a permanent member of two scientific advisory committees in the Agency. She has attended several meetings and training in European Medicines Agency as an observer or trainee and represents the Agency in many platforms in the context of multinational or bilateral relations of the Agency. Prior to joining the Agency, she was a research assistant at Hacettepe University.
